What’s New in ConsoliData 2.81 Compared With 2.8?
- Automatic real-time file updates between CEDRIS servers and automatic fail-over.
- HTE Administrator client-side tool automatically follows CEDRIS failover.
- Automatic database replication and failover (TrackControl service).
- Database security access tightened.
New facilities for SRG:
- additional entries for user details (titles, names, notes), with search facility
- full support for guest users (visiting officers from other forces)
- limitation of presentation styles (only allow a style that the user has been trained on, e.g. not
- full-screen access if only trained on a mobile device)
- user suspension (put user details into suspension from a nominated date, e.g. for maternity leave)
- weed users (list unused identities in past 'n' days, and weed if required)
- limit how many sessions a user may run (maximum nine concurrent sessions)
- limit users to one concurrent device (allow/disallow concurrent SRG logon from two different workstations)
- group and transaction control (the main benefit of this won't be seen until there is an NPIA software update, due sometime 2009)
- automatic switching between servers for broadcast receipt (failure of the broadcast server transfers receipt to a backup server)
- import existing PNC users from NPIA, and create new passwords
- New default values for sessions.
- New colour schemes for sessions.
- LDAP support for e-mail address download. Replaces MAPI requirement.
- PNC transaction analyser available (Look@TE). Create your own search rules on transaction history. (Use of Look@TE application is subject to purchase of additional software licenses).
